Swale’s Shared Story Toolkit provides advice, guidance and resources for companies in the visitor economy to grow their business.
The toolkit is a part of Swale Borough Council’s work to develop and support the visitor economy by working with the local industry. We have designed the toolkit as an interactive guide for those involved in bringing visitors to the area.
Swale itself contains three distinct destinations – Faversham, the Isle of Sheppey and Sittingbourne as well as their surrounding villages, countryside and coast – and each has its own story to tell.
We have broken the advice in this toolkit has therefore into the three towns to reflect their different character and provide businesses with a common structure and the building blocks to tell their story as they wish.
