KCC funding available for life science businesses

Kent County Council has managed to obtain funding for helping local life science companies with small business grants. These grants are available via the ‘Boost4Health’ project, in order to assist businesses to both develop new health products and provide access to European markets.

There are three small grant schemes available, which are…

  • A maximum of €3,000 for market insight activities.
  • A maximum of €5,000 towards production validation.
  • Up to €500 for travel and accommodation costs to attend life sciences events anywhere in North West Europe, or to visit a company in one of Kent’s partner regions.

Travel grants are available to all Kent-based life science businesses, which are in the sectors of biotech, medtech, nutrition and pharmaceuticals.

The project is funded by Interreg Europe, which aims to help and to encourage cooperation between regional governments across the EU.
